Steve Volpert - Drums, Vocals

Steve's foray into the world of percussion started at age 12 when, at the urging of his sister, received private percussion lessons from legendary Atlanta Symphony percussionist, Michael Celbulski. This was all well and good for the budding concert and marching band percussionist, but when studies (finally) got around to the drum set, he was hooked.

He joined his first "band" at age 13, had his first paying gig at 15(beer is payment...right?), and continued to play in cover bands throughout his high school and (brief) college years. Of note: in the late 80's he played drums for cover band "Witness" with current band mate Patrick Wilson and bass guitar phenom Adam Nitti.

Currently, Steve is Senior Editor and Post Production Supervisor for NightGlass Media Group located in Duluth, Georgia. He is happily married to his beloved wife Kim, and wrangles 2 mini-schnauzers in his off time.

Playing in the Guilty Pleasure band has been a true delight to Steve, who has often remarked,"I play the drums for free...you just pay me to haul them around!"
